K’naan - Country, God Or The Girl

I shaped a K'naan campaign visual with portrait styling and negative space, keeping the artist identity direct, soulful, and memorable.

K'naan - Country, God Or The Girl is a digital campaign for A&M built for fast recognition, social momentum, and clear brand recall.

The work was developed with Evil Twin for A&M, keeping strategy, craft, production, and delivery connected from the first idea through final output.

For K’naan - Country, God Or The Girl, I approached the work like a track with a visual mix. The Creative Director, Motion / Edit contribution was about timing, contrast, and restraint, finding the moments where motion, edit, or atmosphere could make the music feel larger without crowding it.

The project sits across digital campaign, brand strategy, so the solution had to work as both a strong creative read and a practical system people could understand quickly.

I focused on the decisions people feel before they notice them: hierarchy, pacing, interaction rhythm, image language, and the small details that make the work feel finished.

The result is a digital campaign that makes K'naan - Country, God Or The Girl feel clear, memorable, and built for the audience it was meant to reach.
