Target In-Store AR Experience

An in-store AR holiday portal for Target, turning a retail aisle into a character-led seasonal encounter with mobile interaction and retail magic.

Target In-Store AR Experience is a live audience experience for Target built around a clear story, a focused interaction model, and a memorable visual world.

The work was developed with X-FCTR and Groove Jones for Target, keeping strategy, craft, production, and delivery connected from the first idea through final output.

My role was to help Target’s in-store holiday moment feel simple enough for families and magical enough for the season. I shaped the campaign strategy around quick participation, clear prompts, and a payoff that could travel from the aisle to social.

The project sits across brand strategy, experiential, technology, so the solution had to work as both a strong creative read and a practical system people could understand quickly.

I focused on the decisions people feel before they notice them: hierarchy, pacing, interaction rhythm, image language, and the small details that make the work feel finished.

The result is a immersive experience that makes Target In-Store AR Experience feel clear, memorable, and built for the audience it was meant to reach.
